20-20 Trustees, one of the UK’s leading independent trustee firms, has appointed Stuart Travers as its newest trustee director. Based in Bristol, Travers’ appointment further expands the local footprint of 20-20 Trustees to cover the Southwest of England and Wales.

Stuar Travers t joins from Winterbourne Trustee Services where he acted as trustee for over 15 clients, the vast majority as chair. Stuart has worked with sponsors, advisors and industry professionals on many complex funding projects to achieve the best member outcomes whilst being mindful of sponsor needs and objectives.

In more than 30 years of industry experience, Travers has also held senior consulting positions with the likes of SBJ Benefit Consultants, later Bluefin, and Alexander Forbes who subsequently became part of JLT.

Travers says: “I’m excited to have joined 20-20 Trustees and become a member of this award winning firm. I’m looking forward to utilising my knowledge, skills and experience as a professional trustee – alongside my wider pension industry background – and working with my new colleagues to assist UK pension schemes and their respective sponsors and advisors in providing clear and transparent solutions to the ever changing pensions landscape and delivering on member expectations.”

20-20 Trustees Managing Director, Naomi L’Estrange, adds: “It’s great that we can continue to grow our national presence with talented people that fit our dynamic culture and also share our pragmatic approach to trusteeship. We’re thrilled to bring on board someone with Stuart’s calibre and wealth of knowledge across a wide range of pensions issues.”
