ABN AMRO names country executive and CEO of private banking international, Asia

ABN AMRO has appointed Hugues Delcourt as country executive Singapore and CEO of private banking international Asia, effective 1 October, 2011, subject to normal regulatory approvals.

Jeroen Rijpkema, CEO of ABN AMRO private banking international, says: "Asia is an important growth region for our bank. With his vast experience in private and corporate banking, his leadership and comprehensive knowledge of the region, Hugues Delcourt is the ideal person to help spearhead our ambitions in the fast-growing Asian markets. I am therefore delighted Hugues is taking up the opportunity to lead our Singapore activities as well as our private banking activities in Asia".

Hugues Delcourt rejoins ABN AMRO from UBS Luxembourg. Delcourt has worked before in various positions in Corporate and Private Banking within ABN AMRO and Fortis, and worked many years in China, Korea and Malaysia as well as in multiple European markets.
