Following Laurent Guillet’s recent appointment as chief executive officer, Amundi is strengthening its UK business with two senior recruits.

Mark Miller joins as head of UK institutional and Jerry Devlin joins as head of UK distribution.

Miller and Devlin will work alongside Frédéric Barthélemy, head of corporate relationships, and Mandy Adamou, head of Amundi’s global consultant relationships.

Guillet says: “We are delighted to welcome Mark and Jerry to the team and are confident that their significant experience and expertise will build on the success that we have already experienced in the UK market.”

Miller joins from Blackstone Alternative Asset Management (BAAM) where he held a similar role (2011-2013). Prior to joining Blackstone, he spent six years at Fidelity International (2005-2011), latterly as head of UK institutional. Miller has previously held positions in the asset management businesses of Legal & General Investment Management, Morley Fund Management and the Robert Fleming Group (1988-2005).

Devlin is joining from Macquarie, where he was head of UK wholesale sales responsible for the distribution of Macquarie group funds to financial institutions within the UK and both marketing and product development. Prior to this, Devlin held the position of global head of sales at Castlestone Management between 2008 and 2011. His previous roles include head of sales, business development and client service at Baring Asset Management, head of UK fund sales at Collins Stewart, head of discretionary sales at Aegon UK and head of nationals and networks at BGI Funds.
