AMX hires new Head of Business Development

RELATED TOPICS

The Asset Management Exchange (AMX), an institutional platform for investors and asset managers, has appointed Christopher Head as Head of Business Development.

Head joins AMX, which manages over USD8 billion in assets, as part of the Executive Committee with responsibility for overseeing business development, marketing and client service.

Christopher joins from BlackRock, the global investment management firm, where he served for 13 years, most recently as Head of UK Local Authorities.

He was also a member of BlackRock’s Institutional UK Client Executive Committee and responsible for sales strategy development and execution.

Oliver Jaegemann, Global Head of AMX, says: “The breadth and depth of Christopher’s experience will drive forward our business at a critical time of growth for AMX. Moreover, Christopher is well versed in operating at senior levels and has demonstrated great focus and skill in growing businesses, in terms of both operations and revenue. As we expand our product offering and onboard more investors and managers to the platform, it is vital that we have the best team in place to deliver the best results.”

Launched in February 2017, AMX was designed to fundamentally transform institutional investment for the benefit of the end saver by standardising, centralising and streamlining the process of investing, making implementation and monitoring more efficient.
