Apex partners with Calypso to provide middle and back-office services to Ardent Financial

RELATED TOPICS

Apex Group Ltd has been appointed to provide front to back office solutions to FCA regulated global securities dealer Ardent Financial Limited (Ardent) using the Calypso Technology management and reporting platform. These services will complement Apex’s existing provision of custody services to Ardent.

Calypso’s platform will allow Ardent to complete a multitude of administrative tasks in a seamless manner through one system, streamlining everyday processes and reporting. Apex‘s Golden Source implementation framework allowed for the delivery and implementation of the system via Oracle Cloud in an expedited timeframe.

Apex will provide decision support, analytics and back office services to Ardent via the Calypso platform as part of the Apex360 solution. The Apex360 provides tailored and service focused solutions, underpinned by leading technology platforms and coupled with best in class accounting and a full service system, enabling Ardent to enhance its operating model, reduce risk and control costs.

This announcement further demonstrates Apex’s expertise in the middle and back office space, and capabilities to support clients, whether they are established managers seeking an improved service or new funds such as Ardent, looking to implement scalable solutions.

Aidan Brady, COO at Ardent Financial Limited, says: “We chose Apex and Calypso due to their outstanding track record in the middle and back office service sector and ability to provide a flexible and scalable service which meets our requirements. We have been impressed by the responsiveness of the dedicated team, and their ability to deliver implementation efficiently and on an accelerated timescale.”

David Rhydderch, Global Head of Financial Solutions at Apex Group, adds: “We are pleased to be partnering with Calypso, as they play a key role in adding value to our clients, helping to provide flexibility and resolve the challenges facing them as they scale their businesses. Calypso’s platform will power Apex’s reporting services and will enable Ardent to save time and increase efficiency.”

Mayank Shah, Chief Strategy Officer, Calypso Technology, says: “We are excited to be working with Apex, to provide Ardent with decision support, analytics and reporting solution powered by Calypso. The combination of Calypso’s rich product suite and Apex’s experience in middle and back office services enabled implementation of a fully hosted environment in six weeks, with the first meeting held less than 4 months ago. Apex is a long-standing strategic partner of Calypso and the successful implementation of services for Ardent further demonstrates the strength of our relationship and our commitment to our clients.”
