Appleseed Fund extends contract with Huntington Asset Services

RELATED TOPICS

Appleseed Fund has extended its contract with Huntington Asset Services for an additional two years through 2012.

Appleseed Fund, a mid-cap value mutual fund that invests in sustainable, undervalued companies, has been a Huntington Asset Services client since 2006.

"We look to invest in sustainable companies that balance the generation of profits with an awareness of their impact on the environment and society," says Bill Pekin, co-portfolio manager of the Appleseed Fund. "We believe the best way to generate strong returns is to pursue only our best ideas, to minimise downside risk, to seek out underappreciated value, and to invest in high quality companies where we expect value to increase over the long term."

Brian L. Blomquist, president, Huntington Asset Services, says: "We’re pleased that Appleseed Fund has once again selected Huntington Asset Services to provide transfer agency services, fund accounting, fund administration and distribution support.  We look forward to continuing this successful partnership."
