Aquila Capital & ECPI form partnership for sustainable investment solutions

RELATED TOPICS

Alternative asset manager Aquila Capital has formed a strategic partnership with ECPI, a provider in the areas of sustainability research, ratings and indices.

The partnership enables the two companies to offer investors a series of co-managed sustainable investment solutions predominantly in the real asset space.

ECPI, which is based in Milan and Luxembourg, has been assessing the sustainability of investments in relation to environmental protection, the law and governance since 1997.

Established in 2001 and headquartered in Hamburg, Aquila Capital has a solid track record in providing solutions for investors in real assets such as farmland, infrastructure/renewable energies and timber/forestry.

Roman Rosslenbroich, chief executive of Aquila Capital, says: “We are excited about working with ECPI, which is a leader in its field. Aquila Capital’s real asset proposition is ideally suited to meet the growing demand for sustainability-driven real asset investments.”

Paolo Tolla, president of ECPI, says: "It's important that the financial community recognises the importance of environmental, social and governance criteria as part of their investment choices, not only for the financial rewards connected to them but also for their moral significance."
