Arnaud Barthélémy joins Oddo & Cie to develop the group’s activities in Asia from Hong Kong

Oddo & Cie has appointed Arnaud Barthélémy as Chief Executive Officer of Oddo Hong Kong. He will contribute to defining and implementing the development strategies of Oddo Group's various activities in Asia. 

Barthélémy will also be tasked with accompanying French and German companies in Asia and Chinese companies seeking to invest in Europe.
 
Arnaud Barthélémy was Consul General of France in Hong Kong and Macao from 2011. Between 2009 and 2011, he was Investment director for the Fonds Stratégique d’Investissement (FSI). Prior to that, between 2007 and 2009, Barthélémy was advisor in charge of diplomatic affairs to the then French Prime minister François Fillon.
 
Arnaud Barthélémy started his career at the Ministry forForeign affairs, first in the legal department (2000-2002), then as Private secretary of the deputy Minister for European affairs (2002-2003), and subsequently as advisor to the director general of political and security affairs (2003-2005). Barthélémy then joined France's Permanent Representation to the United Nations in New York (2005-2007).
 
A graduate of ENA (Averroès promotion, 2000), Arnaud Barthélémy is also a graduate of IEP PARIS (1996) and ESCP-EAP (1994).

The group's Franco-German dimension was a decisive element in my decision to join Philippe Oddo and his teams given the considerable potential of French and German businesses – notably family-owned– in Asia but also the growing outbound Asian investment flows into continental Europe,” says Barthélémy.
