Arnaud Cosserat named Comgest CIO

RELATED TOPICS

Comgest, the independent, international asset management group, has appointed Arnaud Cosserat as the group's Chief Investment Officer (CIO), effective 1January 2015.

The position was previously held by Vincent Strauss, who remains Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the firm. Cosserat will continue in his role as Portfolio Manager, both within the European and Global equity teams.

Cosserat has over 27 years' industry experience, having joined Comgest in 1996 as a Portfolio Manager covering European equities. He has spent the past two years in the position of Deputy CIO, overseeing the implementation of Comgest's quality growth style across all portfolios managed by the 38-strong investment team, covering equity markets worldwide.

Announcing the appointment, Vincent Strauss, CEO, says: "Arnaud’s appointment as CIO comes as a natural evolution to his previous role. His strong leadership and oversight of the investment process at Comgest is invaluable, ensuring that our team continues to refine and strengthen its research methods in order to continue delivering long term performance to our investors."
