Artemis appoints new Chief Risk Officer

RELATED TOPICS

Artemis Investment Management has appointed Ross Millar as a partner and Chief Risk Officer, effective December.

Millar has worked at Deloitte since 2006 where he leads the Investment Management Risk Advisory Practice for EMEA and is a member of Deloitte’s Investment Management Executive. During his time at Deloitte, Ross has advised a broad range of asset management firms and performed a number of senior secondments across both Risk and Compliance functions.

Commenting, Artemis’ Senior Partner, Mark Murray, says: “Risk and compliance are very rightly an increasingly important part of fund management. I am delighted that we have been able to attract someone of Ross’ experience and knowledge to lead these areas for us. We look forward to Ross’ input as we continue to concentrate on our clients’ needs and expectations over the years ahead.”

“I have had a fantastic time at Deloitte over the last 12 years, working with outstanding colleagues and clients, and learning a great deal along the way. The opportunity to go back into industry and contribute to the on-going success of Artemis was too good to miss; and I am very excited about my new role as Chief Risk Officer,” says Millar.
