Aviva Investors has strengthened its fund management capability with the appointment of Ian Berry as fund manager – infrastructure and renewable energy.

Berry, to be based in London, will report to Ben Stirling, managing director of Continental European real estate. Berry will oversee the development of Aviva Investors’ infrastructure capability as well as be fund manager of the Aviva Investors European Renewable Energy Fund. He will also be involved in the management of Aviva Investors’ existing infrastructure and PFI/PPP investments.

Stirling says: ‘Ian is an experienced fund manager who has proven his investment credentials in the renewables and infrastructure sectors and I am delighted with his appointment.
