Aviva Investors marks first year as integrated business

Aviva Investors, the global asset management business of Aviva, has marked the first year of integrating eight existing operations around the world into a single asset management business.

Aviva Investors today has 1330 employees, operates in 15 countries and was managing GBP222bn at the end of June 2009.

Aviva Investors chief executive Alain Dromer says: “The integration of Aviva’s asset management companies from around the world and transformation into one global asset management business is a long journey that has started extremely well. In the most volatile market in decades we have maintained assets under management, developed cross-border activities and won significant third party mandates aided by our strong focus on risk awareness.

“Aviva Investors now has the capabilities and resources to deliver superior investment performance and service to our internal and third-party clients globally. Our aim is to be at the forefront of helping solve the world’s retirement needs by providing intelligent risk-aware investment solutions and products.”
