Baring Asset Management has appointed Christopher Mahon to the role of director of asset allocation research, reporting to Percival Stanion, head of the global multi asset group and chairman of the strategic policy group.

He starts in September, based in London.

Mahon (pictured) is a senior member of the investment management and decision making team responsible for multi asset investment at Barings. He will provide strategic recommendations for asset allocation to the multi asset team as well as sitting on the strategic policy group, the company’s global macro research and asset allocation committee.

Stanion says: “We are delighted to welcome Christopher to the Barings multi asset team. With his vast experience of asset allocation and global strategic research, he is a great addition to our team and we look forward to his input to our research platform.”
