BDO promotes 14 new partners

RELATED TOPICS

Accountancy and business advisory firm BDO has promoted 14 new partners across its tax, audit and advisory teams. The promotions, which are effective as of 30 June 2018, take BDO’s intake of new partners to 66 in the last two years.

BDO promoted seven people in its audit practice: Joe Aswani, Arbinder Chatwal, Matt Crane, Charles Ellis, Andrew Radford, Louise Sayers and Chris Young.

In the tax team, Cory Blackmore, Andrew Crossman, Richard Dalton, Brad Payne and Steve Talbot have been promoted.

Within the advisory team, Iain Nettleton, who specialises in complex international projects, and Duncan Berry, who heads up BDODrive Solutions in Guildford, have also been named new partners in the business.

Combined, they have significant experience across a wide range of specialisms and sectors, ranging from natural resources, professional services and real estate and construction to international tax and private equity. Geographically, they are based across the firm’s London, Leeds, Southampton and Guildford offices.

Paul Eagland, managing partner at BDO, adds: “I am immensely proud that BDO continues to attract and retain the best quality advisers. Each and every one of our new partners is thoroughly deserving of their promotion, and I am confident they will excel in offering a world class quality service to our clients across the UK and internationally.”

“As a firm we have attracted more than 60 new partners to the business in the last two years. We are financially strong and have a great market position; large enough to attract the very best specialists yet small enough to be agile and responsive to help our clients succeed. I see that as our winning formula.”

Earlier this year, BDO appointed Adrian Wong as Head of Digital and Innovation from AstraZeneca and Paul Morris as Head of Growth Advisory from private equity firm Livingbridge.
