Bedrock has partnered with Canada-based asset management firm Fiera Capital Corporation (Fiera Capital) to launch a long-only global equity fund, the 20 UGS (UCITS) Funds Fiera Global Equity.
The fund is a long-only quality growth fund that invests in a concentrated portfolio of around 40-60 global stocks. Fiera Capital’s investment process is designed to identify high quality companies that offer the potential to generate long-term superior returns. The Fund selects companies that have sustainable structural competitive advantages, little dependence on financial leverage, proven management and offer attractive valuations.
Portfolio focus is on holding investments for the long term, effectively managing risk and limiting portfolio turnover.
Ariel Arazi, Managing Partner of Bedrock, says: “Fiera Capital has a proven record of generating superior risk-adjusted returns in global equities. We believe that this fund is highly attractive for clients seeking a truly global fund that identifies the very best companies which offer persistent structural advantages and attractive valuations.”
This strategy will be available to Bedrock clients, through a Luxemburg-based collective investment fund (UCITS). Bedrock currently oversees more than US$9 billion in client assets from high-net-worth families, foundations, endowments and institutions across its London, Geneva and Monaco offices.
Richard Nino (pictured), Executive Vice President, Institutional Markets, of Fiera Capital’s US division, Fiera Capital Inc, says: “For Bedrock to select us to offer out global equities expertise to its European clients is testament to our proven long term investment process and supports our strategy to expand our distribution globally.”
