big xyt appoints Head of Sales in the US

RELATED TOPICS

big xyt, an independent provider of market data analytics and smart data solutions, has appointed Jenny Chen as Managing Director, Head of Sales in the Americas. Chen will be responsible for accelerating growth in the US and supporting clients in leveraging big xyt solutions to transform their trading performance and analysis.

Based in New York, Chen joins big xyt from Société Générale where she spent eight years as MD, Head of Global Execution Services, overseeing program trading, electronic trading, cash equities, ETF, and futures. Prior to Société Générale she spent seven years at Goldman Sachs and previously UBS.

Chen adds a significant breadth of institutional experience and sales leadership to the big xyt management team, which includes previous senior executive hires, Mark Montgomery and Richard Hills.

Navigating fragmented markets remains a challenge for participants needing easily digestible information on trading analysis. The big xyt analytics platform responds to these market challenges, and provides clients access to transparent, accurate, and normalised data. Additionally, big xyt provides buy-side clients such as asset managers, quant funds, pensions, hedge funds and indexers with the ability to integrate their own business logic and proprietary data with big xyt’s technology, enabling them to better analyse their trading strategies and investment decisions as best execution practices.

Following the great success of the Liquidity Cockpit, big xyt’s flagship product, which delivers a consolidated view of the market, with the major European exchanges and global investment banks (including the top Tier 1 firms), the global demand for better execution analytics in the marketplace has led to a natural development of big xyt’s Open TCA platform. The big xyt transaction cost analysis suite processes, stores, retrieves, and analyses large data sets on-demand to answer clients’ most relevant questions on execution with simple and flexible solutions.

Chen says: “I’m delighted to join the highly skilled and professional team at big xyt. There is tremendous focus on client service at big xyt in terms of tailoring its solutions to the needs of individual client segments, which is integral to their approach and success.

“I’m looking forward to implementing big xyt’s data analytics and TCA products to a broader set of US industry participants, providing them with increased market structure information to support and transform their trading decisions with higher performance,” she says.

Robin Mess, CEO of big xyt, says: “I’m pleased to welcome Jenny to our team. During her career Jenny has gained crucial experience in financial services and has established a trusted network of relevant clients. Over the past six years, we have been increasing our footprint in the global community, and Jenny’s appointment will significantly accelerate our growth and perception as a global firm. Her enthusiasm for our solutions, coupled with her market experience and understanding of the challenges faced by our global trading clients, is a great asset for big xyt and the global trading community.”
