Blockchain ticketing startup Aventus Systems relaunches ICO

RELATED TOPICS

Aventus Systems, a UK blockchain-based event ticketing solution, is relaunching an ICO (Initial Coin Offering) it postponed earlier this year.

Aventus has already attracted the attention of major investors as it seeks to launch the crowdfunded release of their new crypto-token, AventCoin, on 6 September, which will run until the 12th. The initial ICO was postponed as a response to the CoinDash hack and the bitcoin ‘hard fork’, however the market has since stabilised and Aventus has decided to press ahead with a strong message of assured security, having had an audit and two month long bug bounty on their code, a legal audit of their token, and experienced escrow partner Brave New Coin having a hand in distributing the raised funds post sale.

The Aventus blockchain solution effectively eliminates ticket fraud and allows owners and event organisers to control and receive commissions on secondary market ticket sales. The application facilitates event ticketing and marketing at a significantly reduced platform cost.

Alan Vey (pictured), and Annika Monari, Directors of Aventus Systems, say: ‘Launching an ICO is a brilliant opportunity for Aventus. We were not prepared to let recent events put a hold on this. The CryptoCurrency market is an exciting and vibrant place to be at the moment. There are teething problems with any innovative sector, but the community is strong and will resolve issues quickly.’
