BNP Paribas Investment Partners (BNPP IP) has appointed three professionals to its institutional business line.

Marc Fleury becomes head of sales for the corporate & endowments segment, Anne Dille‐Weibel becomes head of sales for the insurance segment, and Katherine Simons joins the company as head of global RFP (request for proposal).

Fleury has 17 years’ experience in financial markets, and in sales roles in both investment banking and asset management. He joined BNP Paribas in 2007 where he has, among other things, headed the sales team at THEAM, BNPP IP’s Partner specialising in indexed and systematic investment solutions. Fleury will be responsible for driving BNPP IP’s sales activity with corporates and endowments in Europe and the Middle East. He will be based in London.

Dille‐Weibel has 22 years of experience in financial markets, including 13 in various sales and portfolio management roles. She has led BNPP IP’s sales activities related to banks and insurance companies in France since 2007, and for the past two years has been responsible for co‐ordinating the company’s sales to insurance companies around the world. She will also be based in London.

Simons is a seasoned RFP specialist with 18 years of experience in financial markets. She has been leading and developing RFP, due diligence and marketing activities since 2000 with GAM, Franklin Templeton Investments and Old Mutual Global Investors. At Franklin Templeton she ran the firm’s global RFP activity, managing an integrated team of writers across the US, Europe and Asia.

David Bouchoucha, deputy head of the institutional business line, says: “Our segment sales heads play a vital role in our new Institutional sales organisation, providing the various types of institutional investor with the product, service and support that they need.

“Marc and Anne are vastly experienced in their areas and their solutions‐driven approach to sales will be of great benefit to our clients. Meanwhile, Katherine has proven her ability to lead and develop RFP teams in her previous roles, and is a great addition to the company. All three appointments are further evidence of our desire to provide a top‐level service to our institutional clients.”
