BNY Mellon appoints Head of Treasury Services for Asia Pacific

BNY Mellon has appointed Winnie Chen as Head of Treasury Services for Asia Pacific with immediate effect.

Based in Singapore, Chen will report directly to Eric Boughner, Global Head of Treasury Services Relationship Management and Business Development, and will also have a regional reporting line into Fangfang Chen, Asia Pacific Chair and Asia Pacific Head of Asset Servicing and Digital. Chen will partner with senior leaders in the Treasury Services business and throughout Asia Pacific to ensure functional strategies deliver business objectives. She is also a member of BNY Mellon’s Treasury Services Leadership Team and represents Treasury Services on BNY Mellon’s Asia Pacific Leadership Council.

In this role, Chen will lead the regional strategy, execution and governance for the Treasury Services business in Asia Pacific. She will have direct oversight of the Relationship Management and Business Development functions for the region, with matrix responsibility for all Treasury Services functions including Product and Client Services.

Winnie comes with a wealth of experience in global transaction banking, holding senior sales roles at leading institutions including JP Morgan, Bank of America and ANZ. Most recently, Chen was at United Overseas Bank, one of Singapore’s big three banks, where she was Group Head for Financial Institutions Sales, Group Transaction Banking for almost five years. Prior to that, she was Head of Financial Institutions Sales, North Asia, for ANZ in Hong Kong.
