Brookfield Investment Management Inc appoints global head of marketing and business development

Brookfield Investment Management has appointed Heather Goldman to the position of Managing Director, Global Head, Marketing and Business Development, based in New York.

Within this role, Goldman will be responsible for managing the Brookfield Investment Management marketing and client service team on a global basis as well as cultivating relationships with key capital market participants, including existing and prospective clients, consultants, and banking institutions. Additionally, Goldman will play a significant role in Brookfield Investment Management’s future growth initiatives, including new business and product development.

Heather brings an impressive background of industry experience to her new position, which we believe will contribute meaningfully to our future success.

Goldman’s background encompasses over 20 years of experience in marketing and client service, real estate consulting and corporate banking. Most recently, Goldman was a Managing Partner with Brookfield Financial, responsible for new business origination. Her prior experience includes roles with Starwood Capital Group and Bank of Montreal, in addition to serving as Co-Founder, Chairwoman, and CEO of CapitalThinking, a real estate software and risk management company. Goldman holds a Master’s of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago.
