BTIG adds to Fixed Income Credit team

BTIG has appointed emerging market debt sales specialist John Phillips as a Managing Director in the firm’s Fixed Income Credit division. 

In his new role with BTIG, Phillips will report directly to Michael Carley, Sr. and Darren Haines, Managing Directors and Co-Heads of BTIG Fixed Income Credit.

“We are very pleased to welcome John back to BTIG as part of our growing emerging market debt sales coverage team,” says Anton LeRoy, President of BTIG. “He has a deep understanding of the institutional landscape and the needs of clients focused on execution worldwide.”

“John will help us better interface and bolster relationships with key institutional investor clients and prospects globally,” says Haines. “His expertise will support our efforts as we continue to advance our emerging market debt platform.” 

Phillips joins Blake Considine, Tyler Danielsen, Josh Markfield and Ben Patch, who are also recent additions to the firm and specialise in emerging debt markets.
