Calvert Investments hires Jason Rosenberg as Chief Compliance Officer

RELATED TOPICS

Responsible investment adviser and broker-dealer Calvert Investments has appointed Jason Rosenberg as chief compliance.

“Jason brings tremendous experience and knowledge to Calvert,” says John Streur, who became CEO of Calvert at the beginning of 2015. “His addition is the culmination of my efforts to reaffirm Calvert’s commitment to the highest ethical standards. With all the pieces in place, Calvert is in a strong position for future growth and to best serve our clients.”

Rosenberg joins Calvert from ACA Compliance Group where he advised large and complex investment advisers on regulatory and compliance risk. He has previously held positions at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and at NASD (now FINRA). Additionally, Rosenberg has worked in compliance roles at Fortigent LLC, Rydex, Allstate Financial Services, and Nasdaq Stock Market.

“Calvert has such a solid reputation and is a true leader in the responsible investing space,” says Rosenberg. “I am excited to work with the new leadership team as it continues to deliver long-term performance to clients and enable them to achieve positive impact.”

Since joining Calvert in 2015, Streur has made far-reaching changes to strengthen Calvert’s internal controls and processes as well as the firm’s ethics and compliance culture. He has appointed a senior leadership team with a dedication to excellence on behalf of fund shareholders.

Rosenberg will join Calvert Investments’ growing team of compliance professionals and Hope Brown as chief compliance officer of Calvert Funds.
