Investment and fiduciary manager Cardano has expanded its team with the appointment of Tony Baily (pictured) as a Client Director.
Richard Dowell, Head of Clients, says: “Pension deficits remain a huge problem and the investment strategies adopted by many schemes mean that there is a high chance they will continue to get worse. As such, we are continuing to see demand from those Trustees and Sponsors of UK pension schemes who are demanding better outcomes for their members and want to improve the funding of their scheme in a steady and stable way.
“Our expertise means we are very well positioned to support them with both our advisory and fiduciary management services. Continuing to invest in the highest calibre individuals is key to that and we are pleased to welcome Tony Baily to the team.”
Baily adds: “Cardano’s performance track-record is exceptional. They have delivered excellent results for their clients and remain one of the most well regarded teams in the industry. It’s great to join such a dynamic and nimble organisation with a strong and talented team.”
Tony will be working with both existing and future clients. Prior to Cardano Tony was a Partner at Aon Hewitt within its investment business. He is an actuary with over 20 years’ pension experience advising on both assets and liabilities.
Cardano also recently announced the appointment of Phil Redding as Head of Business Development.
