Carmignac has appointed Gautier Ripert as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Ripert will have oversight of Carmignac’s operating model, data and IT solutions, as well as the Middle-Office and Technology departments. In light of these responsibilities, Gautier will also join the Strategic Development Committee.

During his 16 years with AXA IM, Ripert held various roles within Operations and Technology where he notably led large transformation initiatives for Front Office departments. Ripert is an engineering graduate of the Ecole Centrale Paris.

Christophe Péronin, Deputy General Manager of Carmignac, says: “We are delighted to have Gautier – a professional with such recognised experience – join us. His demonstrable track record will prove a strong addition to our management team. As COO, Gautier will help bolster Carmignac’s growth and operational efficiency and will also contribute to the continued development of our business, helping diversify our investment strategies, product offering and client base.”
