RELATED TOPICS

Cazenove Capital has appointed Stephen Lucas as head of European sales, effective 2 July 2012.

Lucas will be responsible for marketing Cazenove Capital’s absolute return capabilities and long only funds to private banks, family offices and institutional investors in core European markets.

He will report to Cazenove Capital’s head of investment funds, Robin Minter-Kemp.

Lucas joins from GAM London where as client director he built a strong track record in promoting a range of single manager hedge funds, global fixed income and absolute return emerging market debt strategies across the UK, Continental Europe, Australasia and the US. Prior to this he held the position of business development director at Augustus Asset Managers and Julius Baer Investments.

Minter-Kemp says: “The appointment of Stephen Lucas demonstrates our commitment to and strategic focus on the European marketplace. He has successfully marketed a broad range of products in several jurisdictions; given Cazenove Capital’s long-term performance track records and tried and tested investment process we are confident that we will be able to grow our European market share.”
