CF Miton UK Multi Cap Income fund passes GBP100m AUM

RELATED TOPICS

The CF Miton UK Multi Cap Income Fund has surpassed GBP100m in assets under management since its launch in October 2011.

The fund, managed by Gervais Williams (pictured) and Martin Turner, is top quartile in the IMA Equity Income sector over six months, one year and since launch. It has posted a 43.4 per cent gain since launch against the sector average of 28.4 per cent. The fund’s historic net yield is also over four per cent and is paid quarterly.

Williams says: “Market trends are changing beyond the credit boom. Stocks which were previously overlooked are attracting renewed investor interest. The really good news is that in our view there are still more promising stocks to be found at the lower end of the market with good and growing income. Our bias towards smaller companies not only continues to offer some of the best opportunities in the market, but we believe also gives better chances of sustaining growth in spite of the volatile macro environment.

“The fund has proved very popular with wealth managers who like its complementary nature to other income funds they own. The fund’s resilience in down markets, its low volatility and strong performance from launch makes the portfolio a very powerful and compelling proposition.”

The CF Miton UK Multi Cap Income Fund aims to provide attractive levels of dividends coupled with capital growth over the long term. The fund is able to invest across the full market cap spectrum of UK quoted companies.
