Chautauqua Capital Management, a long only investment management firm serving foundations, corporate and public sector retirement plans, endowments, family offices and sub-advisory platforms, has been awarded a new Global Growth Equity mandate by Progress Investment Management Company, a manager of emerging managers.
San Francisco-based Progress Investment Management Company is a leading US investment advisor and manager of emerging managers.
Chautauqua Capital’s Global Growth Equity strategy is a highly-focused investment approach which seeks to achieve superior long-term returns by owning the securities of high quality, publicly traded global companies that have opportunities for growth. Through 31 March, 2011, the strategy outperformed 90 per cent of its peer group since inception (from 1 January, 2007), according to the eVestment Alliance Global Database.
"We are extremely pleased to be chosen as an investment manager by Progress," says Brian Beitner (pictured), CFA, Lead Portfolio Manager and Managing Partner of Chautauqua Capital Management. "This validates Chautauqua’s focused approach — what we call ‘diversification without dilution’ — and our proven ability to perform in up and down markets. We look forward to working with Progress to help investors manage their financial assets."
