BNY Mellon has named Christine Gill (pictured) as the head of its newly formed Investor Solutions Group (ISG), a unit of the company’s Asset Servicing business.
“The Investor Solutions Group was created to further enhance the support and business intelligence provided to BNY Mellon’s investment management and broker-dealer clients,” says Daniel J Smith, head of BNY Mellon Asset Servicing in the Americas. “This group further advances our goal of being the highest-value provider, enabling our clients to make more informed decisions that will help them grow their assets and expand their business.”
As head of the Investor Solutions Group, Gill is responsible for managing the sub-accounting and transfer agency businesses, overseeing client relationships and leading strategic growth opportunities for these important services.
“Christine brings to the position very strong experience working for and with investment managers and broker-dealers,” says Smith. “Her additional expertise creating, growing and acquiring businesses will be beneficial as we expand upon our leadership in providing investor solutions to our clients.”
Gill will work closely with Michael DeNofrio, Client Service Delivery leader of transfer agency and sub-accounting with responsibility for managing the global team that delivers services to BNY Mellon’s transfer agency and sub-accounting clients. Gill has 23 years of experience in financial services, including 15 years with BNY Mellon. Most recently, she was managing director in BNY Mellon’s Global Client Management group responsible for building and nurturing relationships with key strategic clients globally. Prior to that, she was head of relationship management for the Managed Investments business of Pershing, a BNY Mellon company, and senior vice president of strategic product management at PNC’s Global Investment Servicing business.
