CITIC CSLA becomes first Chinese broker to execute through BNY Mellon Stock Connect

RELATED TOPICS

CITIC CSLA has become the first Chinese broker to execute through BNY Mellon’s Stock Connect as the service continues to develop as an important avenue through which China A-Shares can be used as collateral in triparty in the global marketplace.

Stock Connect is experiencing continued utilisation from market participants, both in Asia and beyond, as Chinese assets in both equities and fixed income (via Bond Connect) play an ever larger role in the global collateral marketplace.

As a gateway collaboration between the Hong Kong, Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges, the Hong Kong-China Stock Connect program allows foreign investors faster access to the China A-shares market and facilitated the inclusion of China A-shares into key global indices.
