CMS Hasche Sigle is strengthening its banking and finance practice area with the addition of Oliver Dreher, who is moving from Linklaters to CMS as a partner to head the debt capital markets section.

"We are delighted that Mr Dreher is joining us. As an experienced expert, he represents a significant addition to the debt capital markets team at the Frankfurt location and will lead the expansion of this field of advice," says Hubertus Kolster, managing partner of CMS Hasche Sigle.

Dreher played a key role at Linklaters in developing the debt capital markets and structured products business, as an associate and later as partner.

"I’m looking forward to the opportunity to lead and shape this exciting field of advice at CMS," says Dreher. "At CMS Hasche Sigle I will have the support of an exceptionally strong partnership and a highly qualified, innovative team. Together, they advise one of the most impressive client bases in Germany across all major areas of law."

Andreas Zanner, partner and head of the equity capital market section at CMS, says: "Debt capital markets is playing an increasingly key role in our capital markets practice due to the growing importance of this kind of corporate finance."
