Columbia Threadneedle Investments adds Director in Dubai office

Columbia Threadneedle Investments, a global asset management group, with USD494 billion assets under management, has appointed Jack Harvey, CFA as Director, Middle East in its Dubai office, reporting to Edwin Lawrence, Columbia Threadneedle’s Head of Middle East. In his role, Harvey will be responsible for supporting existing clients in the region and broadening relationships with institutions, family offices, partners and distributors.

 
Edwin Lawrence, Head of Middle East at Columbia Threadneedle Investments, says: “I am delighted to welcome Jack to our team. We established a presence in Dubai 10 years ago and have been successful in developing our institutional client base in the region. Harvey joins Columbia Threadneedle Investments from Franklin Templeton where he had been since 2014, most recently as a Client Relationship Manager covering institutional clients in the Middle East. Before that, he worked at JP Morgan in various roles covering direct clients, IFAs, platforms & networks, private wealth managers and family offices. Jack started his career in 2010 at UBS where he supported the sales and client serving efforts of the UK Institutional Business’ pension and insurance channels. Jack holds a Bachelor’s degree from Loughborough University, England in Banking & Finance and is a CFA charter holder.
