Independent advisory firm Conestoga Capital Advisors has appointed Jeffrey A Riggs as institutional sales and client service officer.

Riggs has 20 years of experience in the investment management industry and is joining Conestoga from Lincoln Financial Group where he was associate vice president – head of investment research and analysis.

Based out of Conestoga's headquarters in Wayne, Pennsylvania, Riggs will help develop new business for the firm and maintain relationships with existing clients.

Prior to Lincoln Financial Group, Riggs worked at Nationwide Fund Advisors where he served as the director of manager research focusing on US and international equities. He has also held various marketing and client service positions at Turner Investments, Brandywine Global Investment Management and Delaware Investments.

Bob Mitchell, co-founder and managing partner/portfolio manager, says: "We have been diligent in hiring team members in advance of our growth, and Jeff's addition reflects our commitment to deliver superior service to our clients. We also look forward to his contributions in helping us grow our business through multiple distribution channels."

"Jeff brings both breadth and depth of experience in the investment industry and we're excited to have him become part of the team at Conestoga," adds Mark Clewett, managing partner and director of institutional sales and client service.
