DET Technologies leverages Rapid Addition’s RA-Cheetah FIX engine in new partnership

RELATED TOPICS

Rapid Addition’s RA-Cheetah FIX engine is to support DET Technologies’ flagship DET Hub.

The RA-Cheetah FIX engine will underpin the DET Hub trading platform, which provides a modular, high throughput, low-latency solution to clients who are seeking higher transaction rates and consistent response times. Its performance, flexibility and scalability allows DET Hub to be used across a wide range of projects and tasks within the electronic trading community.

Petr Postulka, partner at DET Technologies, says: “Our clients value not only the sector expertise that we provide, but also the partnerships with world-class technology providers that we form in order to ensure that we continue to offer the most efficient, forward-looking products and services. DET Hub boasts a range of client benefits such as the ability to process millions of messages per second with stable latency of less than two microseconds for 99.9 per cent of messages. We welcome partnerships with industry leading firms like Rapid Addition who can help us to continue to offer these robust services.”

RA-Cheetah gives consistent low-latency performance and reliability through measurement testing. RA-Cheetah is built using Rapid Addition’s advanced low latency Generation Zero technology, which ensures no runtime garbage collection in either the JAVA or .NET implementations of the FIX engine.

Kevin Houstoun, chairman at Rapid Addition, says: “Our RA-Cheetah FIX engine will support the high performance of DET Technologies’ customised client solutions. As industry needs continue to develop and adapt, our products consistently provide the control and performance that clients are seeking to remain ahead of their competitors. We look forward to exploring future partnerships of this nature and to working closely with DET Technologies in the evolution of this joint offering.”
