Deutsche Bank has appointed Sam Wisnia as head of fixed income and currencies (FIC) structuring and head of strategic analytics for corporate banking and securities (CB&S), effective 1 November 2014.
Wisnia will also be a member of the global markets executive committee.
Based in London, Wisnia will be responsible for FIC structuring, which provides solutions to clients across rates, FX, flow credit, funding and liquidity management businesses.
In the newly created role of head of strategic analytics for CB&S, Wisnia will also be responsible for building out the analytics platform that will help drive business performance and resource optimisation. He will report to Ram Nayak, head of global structuring for CB&S.

Wisnia was previously a managing partner of DMC Partners, an emerging markets focused private equity firm, targeting opportunities in Russia/CIS, Africa, Turkey and Asia. Prior this, he was at Goldman Sachs for 14 years.
