Dustin Cahill joins TowerPoint Capital’s senior management team

RELATED TOPICS

Dustin Cahill has joined the senior management team of TowerPoint Capital and has been promoted to executive vice president of acquisitions.

Cahill (pictured) previously served as senior vice president of acquisitions for the firm – an institutional investor in cellular site locations across the US – which earlier this week rebranded as TowerPoint Capital.

Cahill began working with the firm in 2010 as co-head of an exclusive California-based originations unit of the company. In his new role, Cahill — based in TowerPoint’s San Diego office – will be responsible for managing TowerPoint’s West Coast and Midwest business units as well as contributing to the firm’s corporate business development initiatives.

"The leadership team is very pleased to welcome Dustin to his new position at TowerPoint," says Jesse Wellner, principal and managing director. "Dustin truly exemplifies what we look for in a partner by demonstrating a consistent commitment to the firm’s core values, Knowledge, Professionalism, Integrity and Partnership. We are all very excited about collaborating with Dustin as we continue to grow and improve our business."

Cahill has more than 12 years of experience in financial services, real estate, and telecommunications and has acquired more than USD95m of existing wireless lease assets. Prior to joining TowerPoint Capital, he co-founded an exclusive ground lease originations unit of Communications Capital Group.

"The TowerPoint platform is poised for significant growth over the next few years, and I look forward to making a meaningful contribution as I embark on my new role with the firm," Cahill says.
