DWS Investments, the US retail unit of Deutsche Bank’s asset management division, has appointed Jeffrey Diamond as a director, senior national account manager and head of US offshore distribution.

Diamond will be responsible for the UBS firm relationship within the broker dealer channel and will also focus on establishing and building DWS Investments’ offshore business within the US.

He will be based in New Jersey and will report to Michael Woods, a managing director, chief executive and US head of distribution for DWS Investments Distributors.

“We are pleased to have Jeff join DWS Investments at this critical time of growth,” says Woods. “His knowledge and successful track record working with national broker dealers and building offshore distribution businesses will be key in helping us to deliver our investment solutions to a new and growing client-base.”

Diamond has over 12 years’ experience working with broker dealer firms. He joins DWS Investments from UBS where he served as an executive director in national accounts, responsible for building UBS Global Asset Management’s offshore distribution business within the Americas.

Earlier in his career, Diamond served as an account manager at UBS Global Asset Management responsible for growing the sub-advisory and third party distribution business.

DWS Investments has also appointed eight new vice presidents and regional vice presidents in the broker dealer, registered investment advisor channels, and financial advisor division.
