EdenTree Investment Management, an investment firm focused on responsible and sustainable investing, has hired Phil Davey to its wholesale and retail distribution team.

Davey assumes responsibility for wholesale client relationships in London and the South East and will seek to expand on this already strong book of business as EdenTree looks to the next stage of growth. In addition, Davey is responsible for developing EdenTree’s unique proposition in the Channel Islands.

Davey brings a wealth of experience in servicing wholesale clients – with previous positions at Royal London Asset Management, JP Morgan Asset Management, Columbia Threadneedle and Amundi.

Adrian Judge, head of wholesale and retail distribution at EdenTree, comments: “We are delighted to welcome Phil onboard. During these challenging times for investors, Phil’s extensive experience in supporting asset managers with exceptional levels of client service and helping drive their growth ambitions will be a perfect fit for us.

“Despite recent market turmoil, the demand for responsible and sustainable investment propositions has not lessened, and we continue to see ever increasing demand for our products, driven by a long-term shift in attitudes towards the need to achieve profits with principles.

“Phil’s expertise significantly bolsters our footprint in core markets, while helping us as we look to break new ground in the Channel Islands. He is the perfect addition to help support our growth ambitions as we look to respond to the market’s need for an authentic leader in responsible and sustainable investment.”
