EDI partners with FII to launch Historical Reference Suite of services

Exchange Data International (EDI) has formed a strategic alliance with Financial Information Inc (FII) and will be adding FII’s Historical Reference Service (HRS) Suite of Products to its offering.Founded in 1911, FII is a provider of Financial Actions and Transfer Services data to the securities industry. 

Subscribers will have access to multiple historical data services which are comprised of stocks listed on the US and Canadian exchanges: 50,000 Active Securities, 125,000 Obsolete Securities, 2,500,000 Trackable Securities, and more. 

Jonathan Bloch, CEO of EDI says: ”We are pleased to partner with FII and bring their products to a wider market. FII has been a fixture on the data vendor market since 1911 and hitherto has mainly been used by the major U.S. broker-dealers. We believe that there are many other market participants who could benefit from their data.”

Elizabeth Kappel, FII’s President, adds: “FII looks forward to working with our partner EDI, to distribute our Historical Reference Data to the Global Community.” 

The delivery methods are: FII Online, a web-based query service; Variable Length Records; Fixed 80 Byte Records; Customised solutions; and Print.
