Equitile Investments appoints ESG specialist as Director of ESG & Business Development

Equitile Investments has appointed Sylvia Solomon as Director of ESG & Business Development.

Solomon joins with 30 years of investment experience. She has managed investment funds at Barings and Hermes and was more recently Head of Product Development at Gulf International Bank. She is currently Chair of the ESG panel at the CFA Society of the UK, a role in which she was instrumental in the design, development and launch of their Certificate in ESG Investing – the first professional qualification of its kind.

“Sylvia’s outstanding credentials in equity investment, and especially the integration of ESG factors, make her an exciting addition to the team,” says Andrew McNally, the Firm’s Chief Executive Officer

“I have known the Founders of Equitile for many years and closely followed their investment success since launch. I’m very much looking forward to helping them build on their exemplary track record in terms of both returns and responsible investing,” says Solomon.

“We take our ESG obligations seriously,” says George Cooper, Equitile’s Chief Investment Officer, “Sylvia joining the team is going to help us further upgrade our ESG process, making it more rigorous and better communicated. It’s great to have her on the team.”

Equitile was founded in 2015 by a team of highly experienced investment managers with a strong focus on producing high and sustainable investment returns over the medium to long-term. The Firm manages the UK domiciled Equitile Resilience Fund and the recently launched Prescient Equitile Global Equity Fund which is domiciled in Dublin.
