eVestment, a specialist in institutional investor data and analytics, has named Ashish Aryal as Head of Strategy for EMEA. He will be based in eVestment’s London office.

Aryal (pictured) is responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives aimed at furthering eVestment’s growth in the EMEA region. This will include developing eVestment’s solutions for clients in the region, recommending new initiatives to drive business in the region, and working across the business to position these solutions to clients.

Prior to joining eVestment, Aryal served for seven years as Vice President of Global Market Intelligence and Corporate Strategy at investment giant BlackRock. He has also previously held positions with investment banks Jefferies International and Société Générale.

“As eVestment continues to grow in EMEA, it’s crucial we stay at the cutting edge in the solutions we offer to clients, how we glean and act on intelligence about our clients and prospects, and how we go to market,” says David Keogh, Managing Director and Head of eVestment’s EMEA region. “Ashish’s expertise in the asset management industry and experience in a leadership role will be key to our on-going success.”

“This is an exciting time to join eVestment,” says Aryal. “The company’s leadership in analytics and existing presence in EMEA offer significant opportunities for growth. I’m thrilled to be joining the company and am looking forward to working with the team here in London and with my colleagues globally.”

Aryal holds a degree in Mathematics and Economics from University College London and has passed both Level I and II of the CFA.
