Evli goes Live on IHS Markit’s thinkFolio

RELATED TOPICS

Finnish asset manager Evli has gone live on IHS Markt’s thinkFolio order management and portfolio modelling system.

Evli says the multi-asset class support provided by thinkFolio was the driving factor in its decision to implement the solution from IHS Markit. The asset manager is using thinkFolio’s full front office functionality across order management, portfolio modelling, cash management and foreign exchange, trading and compliance.

“We needed an investment management platform that could handle not only equities but also fixed income, mutual funds, derivatives and foreign exchange,” says Panu Jousimies, Head of Execution and Operations at Evli. “thinkFolio enables us to better execute fully automated workflows with state-of-the-art controls. This will provide strong support for our business operations in our pursuit of growth in the domestic and international markets.”

“As one of Finland’s largest asset managers, we are looking forward to working with Evli on this strategic project that leverages thinkFolio’s cross asset class strength and flexibility,” says Keith Viverito, global head of sales for thinkFolio at IHS Markit.

Evli is also implementing the IHS Markit Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA) platform for equities and fixed income. TCA aims to enhance Evli’s trading-related execution quality management and streamline performance-based order routing.
