EY promotes Richard Le Tissier to partner

RELATED TOPICS

EY has promoted Richard Le Tissier (pictured) to Partner in the Channel Islands. Le Tissier joined the firm in 1995 as a trainee and subsequently became ACCA and AAT qualified.

During his 21 years with the firm he has provided a wide range of assurance and statutory audit services to clients operating all in sectors of the financial services industry.

EY has a culture of providing secondment opportunities for its top performers. In 2008, Le Tissier was seconded to EY London as the global chair of EY’s Wealth & Asset Management IFRS network for 18 months.

Locally, he heads up the Financial Accounting and Advisory Services division, which supports clients in managing the implementation of accounting changes, ranging from single accounting standards to project planning and the implementation of IFRS.

Le Tissier says: “This is a fantastic new challenge and a great time to be taking the next step in my career with EY in the Channel Islands as we continue to grow the business and support local industry through regulatory and economic change.”

Andrew Dann, EY’s Channel Islands Managing Partner, says: “Richard’s promotion is testament to his significant achievements during the last few years. It is also a reflection of EY’s investment in our people and their long-term careers. His background in supporting clients through regulatory change will play a vital part in delivering our purpose of building a better working world for our clients, people and the local community.”

Le Tissier’s promotion follows the recent appointment of Dan Collins to the tax team as EY Channel Islands expands its leadership team.

EY expects to announce a further appointment for the Channel Island leadership team later this year.
