The Family Office backs 3-Sigma Value fund

The Family Office, a multi-family investment office headquartered in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has seeded 3-Sigma Value Offshore, a new fund managed by 3-Sigma Value Investment Management

The Family Office, a multi-family investment office headquartered in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has seeded 3-Sigma Value Offshore, a new fund managed by 3-Sigma Value Investment Management, a New York-based investment firm.

The firm is managed by Benjamin Weinger.

3-Sigma Value Offshore is domiciled in the British Virgin Islands, audited by Anchin, Block & Anchin, and administered by a third party, Columbus Avenue Consulting. Goldman Sachs serves as custodian and prime broker.

Through its partnership and investment in 3-Sigma Value, The Family Office continues to diversify its asset allocation. Asset allocation forms the foundation of The Family Office’s investment process.

Abdulmohsin Al Omran, chief executive officer of The Family Office, says: ‘We believe that 3-Sigma Value is distinctive among long/short equity managers in that their returns have historically been uncorrelated with the overall market and they have consistently generated alpha on the short side. Their investment process is transparent and repeatable, and the portfolio is highly liquid.’
