FIDAL and Siqueira Castro sign partnership agreement

RELATED TOPICS

FIDAL, the business law firm, has further confirmed its global ambitions by signing a partnership agreement with Siqueira Castro Advogados, a leading business law firm in Brazil.

Pursuing its worldwide strategy of alliances with general practice independent business law firms, this agreement will enable FIDAL to consolidate its range of legal and taxation services aimed at Brazilian clients by formalising a close business relationship between the two law firms that has been nurtured for more than two years.

In order to best meet the requirements of their clients and in the wider context of the strategic partnership implemented in late 2009 between the French and Brazilian governments, the two firms have decided to join forces to assist in the development of the flow of business between the two countries.

Within FIDAL, a Brazil desk manned by a dedicated team of the firm’s International Department is in charge of implementing and coordinating this partnership, managed by Jean-Pascal Amoros, an attorney and partner in the law firm. Since 2009, this team has included Leonardo Cotta Pereira, a Brazilian attorney from Siqueira Castro Advogados, with the aim of optimally coordinating projects between the two countries.

Within Siqueira Castro Advogados, the partnership is run directly by Carlos Roberto Siqueira Castro himself, the founding partner of the eponymous firm.

According to Jean Gousset, Chairman of the Executive Board of Fidal|: “This partnership illustrates the determination of FIDAL to enhance the way it serves its clients in their international projects, by focusing on partnerships with reputable local firms which share the same values and the same ambitions in terms of quality of service”.

According to Carlos Roberto Siqueira Castro: "The choice of FIDAL was self-evident given the convergence of our strategic visions and modes of organisation, in the context of an increasing openness of our firm worldwide”.

Over the past two years, Fidal and Siqueira Castro have already successfully handled many cases together on behalf of French and Brazilian clients, and have run several seminars both in France and in Brazil.
