Fidante Partners, a multi-boutique asset management business, has hired Kerry Duffain to join its Institutional Client Solutions team in the London office.
Duffain has over 20 years’ experience raising significant investments and identifying business opportunities in the institutional market. Most recently, Duffain was head of European Distribution at East Lodge Capital Partners where she covered direct sales to institutional clients across Europe and Australia including public funds, corporate pension plans, insurance companies, and wealth management platforms.
Before joining East Lodge Capital Partners, Duffain was global head of distribution at Markham RAE. Prior to this, Duffain has worked at a range of investment managers including Bluecrest Capital Management, Pioneer Global Investors, Citigroup Asset Management, JP Morgan Fleming Asset Management, and State Street Global Advisors.
Duffain is the latest senior hire made by Fidante Partners as it grows its business operations. She will report directly to the recently appointed head of distribution, David Cubbin. Working closely with Cubbin, Duffain will be primarily responsible for distributing Fidante’s current product set to the European market, but also on assisting to identify and develop new product opportunities for the business.
Cubbin says: “Kerry will be an invaluable addition to the Fidante team. She has an extensive network within the UK and European institutional market and a reputation for creating long-lasting client relations and confidence. Her energy and drive will be a very welcome addition to our team as we grow our distribution footprint and seek to partner with talented investment managers looking for greater independence and alignment, in order to focus on what they do best – investing.”
Duffain adds: “Fidante Partners is an exciting multi-boutique asset management business with a diverse range of boutique partnerships. I look forward to helping successfully grow Fidante’s European business, with a particular focus on expanding the existing investment manager capabilities.”
