Fiera Capital acquires LA wealth management firm and NY asset manager

RELATED TOPICS

Fiera Capital is to acquire a US wealth management firm and, separately, a global asset manager as part of its strategy to expand into the US market.

Fiera has agreed to acquire Los Angeles-based Bel Air Investment Advisors, as well as its affiliate Bel Air Securities, which oversees USD7.3bn in client assets.

New York-based Wilkinson O’Grady & Co, a USD2.1bn global investment manager, will also be acquired and extend Fiera’s global offering, benefitting the collective wealth management clientele.

Together, these acquisitions add more than USD8.1bn in assets under management (AUM) and an additional USD1.3bn in consulting assets to Fiera’s private wealth segment.

Total consideration for the two transactions is approximately USD156.3m.
