Finance Isle of Man appoints new Head of Banking and Fiduciaries

The Isle of Man’s Department for Enterprise has appointed Paul Blake as the new Head of Banking and Fiduciaries for Finance Isle of Man.

Blake has over 20 years’ of experience within the financial services sector and has held senior roles in banking, legal and fiduciaries. He joins from a boutique Trust and Corporate Service provider specialising in Yachting and UHNW clients.

Blake was previously Chief Operating Officer at two leading Isle of Man Law firms, leading on strategic development and operational excellence. He also worked as senior manager of the corporate banking team at Lloyds Banking Group on the Island.

Michael Crowe, Chief Executive at Finance Isle of Man, says: “I am delighted to welcome Paul into the Finance Isle of Man team. He brings a wealth of experience, and his knowledge and expertise will help us attract new opportunities, boost local businesses and secure a positive future for the strong ecosystem of financial and professional services here in the Isle of Man.”
 
Blake says: “I look forward to working with the Finance Isle of Man team, drawing on my combined experience to support the largest component of our economy, and to develop new opportunities within the sector.”
 
Finance Isle of Man was created to support the growth of the financial and professional services sectors in the Island, whilst promoting the Isle of Man internationally as a preferred centre for doing business. The agency is a public-private partnership made up of a diverse mix of members from the Island’s key sectors.
