Fortress International forms alliance with Carlisle Management

RELATED TOPICS

Fortress International Fund has entered into an alliance with Carlisle Management, which is to become the investment adviser to all of Fortress’ investment and restructuring activities.

"Fortress International is a premiere partner, with a respected brand and an industry-leading management team for accessing longevity-based investments," says Jose Garcia, chief executive officer at Carlisle Management. "Carlisle continues to focus on developing strategic partnerships in the life settlement market. We are extremely pleased to work with Fortress International."

The Fortress International Fund will be launched later this year and provide life settlement investments for qualified investors.

Fortress International continues to expand in the US secondary market for life insurance and will use Carlisle Management’s fund advisory and asset management services. Carlisle Management is a Luxembourg-based fund management firm providing operational, analysis, management and advisory services within the US secondary life insurance market.

"We are thrilled to partner with the Carlisle team and look forward to continue expanding our profile in European markets," says Peter Dodd, Fortress’s fund director. "Carlisle’s asset, operational and regulatory knowledge will be essential in our launch. Shareholders will benefit from the expertise the two executives teams bring within the secondary market for life insurance policies."

The Fortress International Fund offers investors growth potential with a low level of volatility in comparison to traditional investment strategies. The fund gains exposure on life settlements by investing in investment grade, medium to long term US life insurance contracts.
