FundRock appoints Group Head of Business Development

FundRock Group has hired Paul Spendiff as the new Group Head of Business Development, based in the firm’s London office.

Spendiff (pictured), is an experienced managing director and entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience in financial markets and services. He has extensive knowledge of the European regulatory landscape and investor drivers for both the alternative and traditional fund management spheres.
 
Spendiff has worked with clients from around the world looking to establish European management and fund structures for both open and closed ended funds. He is a regular commentator in the financial press and speaks regularly at conferences and events.
 
Revel Wood, CEO of FundRock, says: “We are delighted to have Paul join our team. This is one of a number of key hires planned as part of our expansion and investment in people and platform to serve clients across our unique Luxembourg, Ireland and UK ACD and Management Company Solutions. Paul brings significant experience of the UK market and I am sure he will lead our global team to even further success and bring value to our growing UK client base.”

Spendiff graduated from Queen Mary College, University of London before starting his career at Thomson Reuters. Paul joins from Apex Fund Services where he was Head of European Sales and Managing Director of their UK operations.
