International Financial Data Services (IFDS), a provider of outsourced administration and technology solutions to the fund platform, collective investment, retirement and insurance markets, has appointed Stephen Mohan (pictured) as Chief Operating Officer of its Platform Solutions business.
Mohan, who has been at the forefront of the wealth and asset management industry over the past 15 years, will immediately assume responsibility for all operational teams within IFDS’ Platform Solutions business. He will be based in the UK and report to Matthew Brown, Chief Executive Officer of Platforms at IFDS.
“Stephen’s proven success within the fund platform industry will be crucial as we continue to expand our services and capabilities within the wealth management space,” says. Brown. “His appointment adds significant experience to our Platform leadership team and he will play a key part in developing our operational services”.
Mohan, joins IFDS from Allfunds Bank SA, Europe’s largest fund platform, where he was Head of UK and Ireland. Previously, he spent eight years at Cofunds, as Managing Director Operational Services, overseeing the platform's growth from GBP5bn in assets to GBP50bn and spearheading the growth of its institutional business. His career has also involved spells at Fidelity, Royal London, M&G and the Bank of New York.
